Talcum Powder

Talcum powder or Talc is a hydrated silicate of magnesium Talcum3MgO, 4SiO2, H2O. It possesses the distinction of being the softest mineral & has a characteristic soapy feel. It has got high dielectric strength, High thermal conductivity & Low electrical conductivity. It finds its application in, as filler in Plastics, Polishes, and soaps. Mica

Mica is one of the wonderful bounty of nature which occurs in pegmatite usually in book form & can be cleaved up to 0.25 millimeters in thickness. Mica is chemically silicate of aluminium with some water of crystallization containing one or more elements like potassium, sodium, magnesium, lithium, vanadium, & iron. Of all the species known muscovite & paragonite are of commercial importance. It is available as both dry ground Mica and wet ground Mica.
